Does anyone know how to send a html from Entourage.
I've designed the html page and made sure all links are directed to my web server but I can work out how to actually insert the html file to the email.
Thanks in advance

Try this (http://scriptbuilders.net/files/sendcomplexhtmlx2.1.html). Let me know if it works.

I believe that there are earlier versions that work with Entourage v.X if that's what you're looking for. I assume you're running Entourage v.X instead of 2004?

Actually it says it runs off of X ... is there an earlier version I forgot about? what version of Entourage are you running?

I'm not on a mac, so I can't help you with specifics, but I can tell you that most email clients screw up html email in one way or another. I send a weekly e-newsletter to over 20k recipients. I have found that the only way to preserve the formatting was to use a third-party mailing client. As I said, I'm on a PC, but we use groupmail. It works flawlessly and allows you to include a text-only version of your email for individuals who have html turned off.

Entourage is not a very helpful program to send HTML emails. I use Eudora as my main e-mail account but if I need to send HTML emails I log into Mozilla Firefox and send them from there as it actually does work!

Below 11.2.4 it say i should be on. I think its 11.0 (mac I wanna send from is at home).
I may just try Apples Mail instead.
Thanks again

Hey Steve –
If this is for business purposes and you can rationalize/approve the expense, I work with a program called Email Marketing Director from Arial Software and I have had really positive experiences with it. All you need to do is have the images remotely hosted and draw up your email in something like Dreamweaver and you're good to go. I cheat and design mine in ILLY then slice them up and edit the code from there =).
It's pretty straightforward to use and only about $500 to my recollection.

I'm doing it for a client. A news letter for his furniture business designdriven.co.uk
Thinking it would be straight forward I said 'yeah I'll do it for you and shouldn't take longer than an hour or so'

If he wants to use this as a marketing tool for his business, he should invest in a proper service or piece of software. Check out MagnetMail [online service provider] ... I've used them before, too.

It should just be a matter of patching with the latest updates. It's all free if you want to try it. Under the help menu select check for updates.
