Good morafterneving everyone.
My brothers asked me to design a tag/ logo sorta thing for a seductive clothing line. Thats about all I got. What questions should I ask to help me get a better idea of what the client wants?
Thanks a bunch.

Sounds pretty straight-forward actually.
Why don't you post some questions first?
Design is your job, right?
You can't be coming to us asking us to do your job for you.
Even if it is for your brothers.

Yeh, I can see what you mean. Thanks for letting me know - all part of the learning process. Maybe I should have phrased the question abit better.
Has anyone done something similar to this before?
I have a idea in my head. I will post them up when i get a chance.

Get them to describe their target market.
Male/female, age, interests, salary, location, spending habits etc.

Aside from the details Budafist mentioned, ask about the company's philosophy. Are they desiging clothing to make the wearing feel sexy? Are they designing clothing to entice people that view it? Hopefully they have some kind of mission statement so that you know exactly where they're coming from. It will help shape whatever mock-ups you create.

Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood?
Both sell lingerie, but both have a different branding vibe. They can attract the same audience in many respects, yet at the same time attract other types of demographics. Victoria for example has a stronger brand appeal to women and teens.
Ask questions that will help you determine the direction in which to tailor the mark. Go so far as to ask personal tastes like favorite colors (or least favorite), whether they are looking for sexy, masculine/feminine appeal, a "playboy bunny" or themed look (like Victoria's trademarked "angel wings"). Take a look at their mission statement bring in other lingerie catalogs and ask what elements that they like or don't like, etc., really get into understanding their vision for the direction of their company.
Best thing to do is to write all these questions up in a little (brief, because no one likes long) concise questionaire.
