I need to design and print concert tickets but i have no idea where to take the first step. does anyone know any printers in the us or how to go about doing this?

I don't know about your location, but around here, tickets are increasly being sold via ticket companies who print out those generic unnattractive but useful and info packed tickets.

There's not too much of a market now for unique tickets - by the time someone has purchased a concert ticket, they've already given the organisers money. Why does the organiser need to spend more money on ticket design at this stage?

If the only thing that has you befuddled about this experience is the individual numbering, most printers have a numbering machine. Many digital printers are able to do number as a simple mailmerge or other method. Therefore most offset as well as digital printers will be able to supply you with printing for your tickets.

ive used ticketprinting.com in the past, and from my experience the quality and shipping was fair and resonable, they have a good niche market and the stuff we got worked just fine for us (5000 tickets) good luck on whatever you choose, there are plenty of websites out there that can help you with this.
