cute, watch the ferret in the background cage, it does a little dancing of its own too.

I've just started dancing lessons (with my wife) last week. We're having a blast. Maybe in a month or two I'll be up to dancing with ferrets.

From the 'if I had to do it all over again' department fellas? Word of advice: invest in dancing lessons. It's fun, good exercise, and at many social events, it's just a lot easier (and cheaper) to impress the ladies with than the size of your... er, sports car, say.

first you put your two knees close up tight..

then you swing em to the left and you swing em to the right ...

That's aweomse Broacher .. for years I have wanted to learn ballroom dancing ... but too late for that now ;)

It's a great couples activity :)

I'm six four, she's five four. Fortunately, it seems to not make that big a difference (except she keeps asking me to lower my free hand). That, and the instructors are a couple with just about the same discrepancy.

Too late? I think not Ms. K. I'm two years away from the big 5-0 and many couples in our class are at least ten or more years older. Oh yeah, there's the obligatory young cutie couple practicing their prenuptial dance moves, but most are closer to our age. We have a huge plus: the classes are held in our son's public school gym just a short walk from our home.

So, no excuses. Grab your tom cat, get out there and get started!

yeah me and my girly did the dancing lessons for about 6 months, i learned a ton, and although we aren't perfect on the dancefloor, we can keep with swing, hustle, tango and foxtrots. it is great exercise as well.

I don't dance. I know, I know... you've never heard of a latina who doesn't dance. Well, my latin heritage gave me the big 'ol J.Lo butt, but no dance-floor grace whatsoever.

I'm probably getting married at some point next year too, that could be fun. I'm not worried about our first dance, I can sway as good as the next guy. It's the dancing through the rest of the reception that I haven't quite decided on what to do. I guess I'll just slowly drink myself confident enough to shake myself around the dance floor (I guess also the same thing as drunk enough to not care how I look).

That was an AWESOME video, thanks so much for sharing, DonnaL. :D

I've taken some dancing lessons, I agree with the others, it's great fun, great exercise, and probably even more fun when you're taking the lessons with someone you love, but there's something really cool about feeling like you can move to music better than most of your peers. :) Kat, I'd highly recommend it, it's a great way to meet people as well, and hell no, girl, you're not too old. I'll be hitting 50 in December, and I still love to dance. Next opportunity I have to learn some more moves, I'm all over it.
