Hi!
My thanks to creators and moderators of this site. This site is the best one I think. I visit it as it’s possible everyday. I really enjoy to talk to posters and most of them became my pen-friends.
So I wish you to gain new posters and not to lose current ones. You are the great team!

Yes! I'm not saying hello to anyone anymore, until Jpync tells me if they are made of luncheon meat or not! Kittie, guard your lemons!

Trust me, it's a common musical piece called "Prelude to a Spam". He's posted the exact same thing on 7 forums. He, his IP and email are banned on all our forums.

Yup. Usually you'll get a complete nonsense post from a soon-to-be-spambot (or spammer, not sure which), which will later post some spamtastic links.

Certainly looks like a canned meat product to me.

Unfortunately for them, there is no modus operandi they use which I haven't learned to spot, at a glance. All entirely out of necessity, of course. 3 yrs of dealing with parasitic vermin has made me a reluctant expert on spam.

It's spam.
He posted on my forum too, with the same user name and same post.
Well, bummer. I was hoping he would want to go to the Spam Museum (http://www.spam.com/museum/) with me! (I am proud to say, I've actually been there!)

If I went, I'd feel compelled to desecrate the displays. To me, spammers are lower than drug dealers in the food chain. At least drug dealers don't hold anyone down and force their wares on them. Spammers are internet cockroaches.

Still, how do they gain?

His next post would have had a link in it. Probably to some viagra site. This particular one is very common. "I love you, I love your site, here's some spam."

the first message is more like a test, to see if they can get their post onto the board, if people notice them, if the board is moderated, and if the mods are paying attention, you get the drift.
Then they come back and post a bazillion links to low-cost viagara and knockoff timecks watches and all that jazz.

I don't actually know since I never let them get that far. I always ban them at the first posting.

i like to think of JPnyc as a virtual prophylactic to protect the GDF from STDs (spammer transmitted doom) :D

They used to do it all in one post so we knew what they were selling. Now they try it first without the links.
