Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

i've been told by a few koreans, a guy from taiwan and from friends in beijing that firemen in asia don't enjoy the sex-symbol or hero status that they do over here.

might be a hard ride for him for 2 years, but everybody's gotta do it. and anyways, you'll be the most heroic metrosexual firefighter on the gdf.
