Living in Minnesota, Ordering print materials for customers online, the company does not charge sales tax, do I then charge the customer sales tax?

If yes, Does anyone know the NAICS code for reselling printed materials such as brochures, business cards, etc?

Wedding invitations- Do I have to charge sales tax? If the printer already charged me sales tax then I shouldn't have to charge sales tax. Correct.

If your an expert, please give me as much details as possible.

Thanks,
Margaret

Taxes need to be paid every time something is sold.

Research resellers license. You should be able to present it and not pay taxes on the invites - but you have to charge your customer.

I am far from an expert on this subject. Unfortunately the forum is kinda dead throughout the weekend. Bump the thread on Monday morning and you may get some of the answers you seek.

Your printer should be charging you sales tax if you don't have an ST-4 number. That's a reseller's tax certificate. They are supposed to ask you for that number before selling to you wholesale.

As for reselling something that has already been taxed, I'm not sure, but the rules might go according to state. I'm in MA and if I resell my car, the new buyer has to pay the sales tax on the re-sale (at the DMV, not to me). Flea-marketeers are also supposed to collect sales tax here...
