Need some help in the web department.
1) an "Order me now" graphic. Approx 250 x 200px. (can be slightly larger if need be.
2) Other text. mainly the site is very bare. I don't have much time to write content. Anyone want to step up and help? Would be the "about us" "warrenty", "media page" well just about everything really.
Check out HERE (http://cause4design.com/) and HERE (http://cause4design.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1) and fill in the blanks.
If we have a web person who wants to volunteer to help code the site, more than willing to share the duties.
3) We need the classic thermometer to show how much we have raised thus far.
What changed, is that I received another promotion at work (yay), and have OT and handling the printing of everything doesn't leave a whole heck of a lot of time.
We've sold 42 calendars already!!
Come on you web people, could somebody give Jade a hand? :)
I think we need to get rid of all that donation stuff now that the calendars are available. We need to replace it with some images from the calendar. I believe Urstwile has 12 images (one for each month) all ready to go with a thumbnail and a full size image. We could put the thumbnails where the donation stuff is and have each one link to it's full size image. I could do it but it would just be Dreamweaver wysiwyg code. I know someone could do it better.
I think the current text would work fine as our press release unless someone wanted to punch it up a bit. More info as mentioned above would be good too but not as important as getting the images up. Also could we make the order link look more like a link? Right now the only way to tell it's a link is to put your cursor over it. Couldn't we just use the logo we have now with the words "Click to order" underneath it?
Come on folks, Jade has put a lot into this and need some help now. We are 99% complete. Somebody with web coding skills could take it that final 1%. http://koolsplace.com/images/koolsmiley.gif

Jade has the press release but I can send it to whomever can work on this. I think there should be a place to "download press release" and download the pdf of press release.
I wish I knew web design. I would help in a second.
We're so close! Our prime sales time will be in November and December! Please help!

What sort of coding are we talking about? I can definitely do XHTML/CSS but I have only a working knowledge of PHP/MySQL at this point, so if it's that you're after, I don't know exactly how much assistance I could be.

Are we going to have a gif banner that flashes through all the calendar pages?
I can do that tonight if no one else has done one yet.
What size should it be? 700 px by about 70 pix?

I don't have enough experience with web stuff to help out on this one, I'm afraid. :(
I could help with the layout but would need some coding assistance in some areas?

If there's a template in place, I could probably work with that. I just can't attest to my web skills beyond that.

I wrote the thermometer program on Pete's site right now, so we can use that.

In fact, here's the whole thing in a nutshell
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var i= 7612;
window.onload=mercury;
function mercury() {
document.getElementById('red').style.height=i/60 + "px"
document.getElementById('total').style.bottom= (i/60) - 50 + "px"
document.getElementById('total').innerHTML= "$"+ i + " ";
}
//-->
</script>
<div id="container">
<p id="max"style="bottom:440px;color:red">$98,064 </p>
<p id="total"></p>
<div id="main">
<div id="red">
</div>
</div>
</div>

Thanks JP!
I'll get it in the site tonight.
I've made some more tweaks to the site and Urst has the login for the shopping cart to help with a bit of content there.

What did you have in mind for me to add to the shopping cart, Jade? Sorry if I'm not understanding what needs to be added.

text!
Description of what it is the person is actually buying. (on the products page)
And "about GDF page" who is this group of people that are helping Ana and why does cause4design exist?
AND under "Tools" and "Define Pages Editor" there's some editable pages. If you look at "Email Welcome" it's pretty bland - possibly reword it and email me the text?

Hey Ana's dad here... Joe told me the other day you were nearing launch and since I was posting on www.oneana.com (http://www.oneana.com) tonight I thought I would stop in and see how progress was going and then add a blurb on the site and what not...
If your still looking for web help I'd be all over doing what's needed for the website.
I could knock it out this weekend if needed. I'm planning on making an announcement and then I'd like to send out an email to all the people who have supported us this far.
I think what your doing as a group is truely awsome and your help is welcomed, but I think I need to give my help where it can be best put to use.
If my help is still needed for the site drop me a line via email or BBmessager me. And I'll call you once Ana and I get back into non-roaming coverage tmorrow afternoon.

I'll need to catch myself up on the details and what not. I'm sure once my mother-in-law catches wind, she's going to order a ton as gifts.

Nice to "meet you" Pete. I for one was honored to be able to work on a couple of areas of this project and loved being a part of something so worthwhile.
I am sure your input would be a fabulous addition to the web site!
