Hi

I have in my contract the following, but i don't think it sounds clear.
I need your help. What i am trying to say is that the project will not start until payment is received and the estimated due date will change until payment is received.

Does this make sense?

Here is the exact words in my contract.

Any delay due to late startup payment, supplying requested content (text, logo etc..) third party, unusual transportation delays, unforeseen illness, or external forces beyond the control of "my company name" shall allow for the extension of the project completion date.

Any delay due to lack of materials supplied by the client (text, logos, images [even form third party saources]), late project down payment (xx% as staed in x.x claus), unforseen illness, natural disaster, death, dismemberment or other Acts of God shall be grounds for an extension of original project launch date. Client shall be notified when said extension is required. (Your company) cannot be held responsible for missing a launch date due to issues listed above.

Keep in mind I am not a lawyer of copy writter by any means!!!!!! ;)

dismemberment?...Yes in case you use the scissors tool and accidentally cut off some private parts! Would be painfull and delay a project a few hours. ;)

What i am trying to say is that the project will not start until payment is received and the estimated due date will change until payment is received.
Project initiation will begin upon receipt of payment. Estimated due date is dependent on project initiation and subject to change.*

You might think I am joking... But at work we have it in our disclaimer/legal copy when you sign up with our corporation. I kid you not! :D
