First, it is really hard to explain to clients, who are generally very smart at everything, that something isn't presently possible on the web.
I have a client, a renowned academic, and there are many instances in the content where characters need to be displayed in Sanskrit or Hebrew or Greek. I'm using the utf-8 unicode encoding, but it seems that all characters do not exist, or that you need to require the site visitor to install a specific unicode font in order to have the encoding visible.
This is all so confusing. Anyone out there ever had a similar puzzle to solve?
