Oh deary me. That is pants. I've been so impressed by a lot of Eurostar's adverts up until now. I even posted a thread with one in a while back (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31108). This one is a bag of arse though.

hmmm ... I can think of a lot of reasons to visit London. Seeing a guy pee in a cup it not on the top of the list. ;)

Being half-Belgian, it made me think of this:

which is located in Brussels. It's a Belgian icon, they even dress it up in different outfits on different holidays. It's called Manneken Pis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manneken_Pis)

Wow, the hype needed to justify this one... Methinks they doth protest their innocence too much...
Guess it's a case of knowing your audience. If that image promotes certain people to visit, do you really want those people to visit?

There is an element of british humor that I never have quite gotten. This falls into that category. No offense to anyone here who's british, of course!

Doesn't make me laugh either and I'm British. Maybe it's Belgian humor?

I gather that they are supposed to be displayed pasted around a corner, so that you just see the peeing bloke first and only when you round the corner do you see what he's peeing in, but, still not funny. Is it a reference to London being "around the corner", "within pissing distance"? Maybe a band of Belgians will be along to explain it to us shortly.
