Im just putting a new portfolio together. Never needed one before so i was wondering the best way to go about it. I quite like on some peoples portfolio sites how they have photography of the printed brochure or whatever. Would this be a good thing to do in a printed folio or would employers prefer just the images laid out flat.

I havent got a good camera so i was thinking of mocking up a brochure to show how it physically looks printed at the top and then beneath that have some key pages from within laid out flat.

im probably going to have about 12 different projects in the folio. Some of these projects say like my CD covers have say 4 different cd covers in that section so i will have more than 12 images to show.

if your going to use photos of your printed materials then use a really really good camera...I used my own and well it doesnt look so good :)
