Video Graphics?

Hi everyone... just wondering does anyone know of any good programs that do graphics...

For example, a program that will let me do text effects and and graphic overlays on video etc?

What programs do you have now?

I know a few programs and some techniques can be simple, some built in, and others can be as fanciful as you have time to put into it.

Hi, at the moment I only have windows movie maker, I did have Macromedia Director which was god for stuff... but I know a few ways of doing nice scrolling text with a combination of imagery and WMM, but just wondering if there are any nice effects or programs that do nice text effects, like shining, lit up text and stuff??

What you are probably thinking of is Adobe After Effects. It's the program that is common for animation, light ribbons etc. However, you can cheat by using a flash program or just photoshop and layer up static images to put on your timeline.

I don't really work with movie maker, but in Adobe Premiere there's a green screen filter that you can then put your imagry through (granting that you built it with green background).

Also you can build the timeline right in after effects and lessor so in flash then place your images over the actual clips.

My way would be flash with green screen and place in adobe premiere.
