Chanukah is here! My brother and I are splitting the cost to get my mom a nice digital camera. I got her a great photo printer earlier this year, and she hasn't used it! So we want to get her a camera - which I know she wants. I am a photographer, and for some reason, can't decide what to get her! We are ok with spending $200-$300.
Its mostly for her to shoot for family, friends, pets, and some nature. Definitely needs to be compact, but high quality. Looking for an 8-12 MP count, High resolution, Fun features, and something that will take a great picture. And easy for her to use. I've always been a canon shooter, but I am wondering if there are better options. My Canon compact is OK but I think there are better choices out there. Love to see what suggestions are given on here.
