Since our testing period has ended, we have removed the free download of the beta Windows version from our website. As soon as the new version is released, free downloading will resume. Check back on this website for more details about the next stage’s imminent release....
Coming soon...

Oh, man I hope they're gonna put out a final release soon.
I ain't messing with beta software on my work computer, but to be honest, all the other Windows based font management options suck.

It's still on their site, you just need to know where to look. ;)
This link is an EXE file. Right click to download - claim no responsibility on the link.

oh, It IS very glitchy. Not totally useless but you have to get over the fact that it totally messes up any directory of fonts. So make a seperate folder for the fonts you want to import into the program as it will delete those fonts from the original folder. Also make a backup copy of your windows fonts folder just in case it decides to remove the fonts from there too.
Still can't get rid of the notice that MS Sans Serif is not found even though it's been actived, replace, reactivated, put in the actual windows font folder, etc. So the popup of "can't find font buy it here" on things is annoying.
but there you go.

Hopefully they'll work out those kinks on the next release. The Mac version is the best font management software I've ever used, IMO.

Thanks. Yes there is still many kinks to work out, just yesterday after installing a font (not through lino type but through windows font folder) all fonts mysteriously turned to dots. Had to do system restore. Most probably because of glitch with Linotype.
Thanks for the link though :)

I dunno, I suspect the version of Suitcase I was using 5 years ago, before they added a whole pile of worthless bloat was the best font management software ever. Sadly, the current version of suitcase is pants, and FontExplorer's definitely the best thing currently available.
Sadly, the Windows version of Suitcase has always sucked.

5 years ago. Hmm, I think I was using ATM Deluxe back then.
I never had a problem with Suitcase, frankly, until OS X came on the scene. Then it just seemed more buggy than not. Granted, I didn't start using OS X until late into the second cat, so maybe that was part of the problem.

No, that sounds about right. The last version of suitcase I remember that was any good was on OS 9.

Our tech support sold Suitcase Fusion to us when we needed it for a new computer. It is horribly buggy. Wonder if I could ask for a downgrade?

Throw out Suitcase, and install FontExplorer. It's free and it's better.
Also, someone give me a taco. That's 2500 posts and I'm hungry :D
