update pictures in Quark 6.5

i collected my project but the pictures still link to their old location. i moved that folder and changed names of folders and still could not get them to show as missing or changed in the utilities window, so could not update automatically. when i send the collected files to the printer, they will, i think, be able to link to the correct pictures, since they have no other...but how can i update the picture links?

Trash the old picture file, or move it to a hard drive and disconnect it, re-link the images to the new location, and then move the old pictures back.

I think even if you move the old pics to the trash without emptying it, your links should show missing.

Yah, the link stays active after you move. It's retarded I know...
