4 days off, 2 days of server moves

here I thought that I'd just be able to use the migration tool to move a client over to the new server.

1.5gig of data...plus 256MB database....oy!

So now we are on day two and still getting errors, so I'm manually moving 250MB of problem files.

Not what I was planning on doing, but this was a planned move to minimize downtime during the season. (and the only time the client has time to help if needed - though pretty hands off for them.)


So, that's how my weekend is going.

That and the sewers are smelly in the neighborhood so my house constantly smells like someone farted. blech. Happens most holidays, which is why I was planning to spend most my weekend elsewheres.

Ouch. Server moves always suck, and to be doing it with the smell of sewerage would really suck. Hope it gets sorted soon.

I feel for you. Data/server moves at wee hours in the morning and or holidays/weekends...ah the memories or should I say nightmares!
