Helllloooooo all. It's been what seems like forever!
Work doesn't allow bulletin boards, so I'm off today and checkin in.
All is good in Oklahoma. Ice storm was kinda nasty and snow Friday night just in time for Christmas, if it will only last.
I miss y'all.
Happy holidays to one and all.

Hi Rick! Good to see you on the forum. :) You've definitely been missed.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family. How's everyone doing? Are you liking the job?

Hey guys! Yep, job is going well, life is good. Certainly less stress NOT being in prepress. But job planning and ordering paper has its' own pitfalls.
Just got the 6 and 4 year old grandsons (up from Alabama) down for the night. They wrote out their letter to Santa, left out cookies and milk and carrots. I wrote a letter back to them from Santa so they can still believe for another year. Got another daughter down from Washington state, so almost have the whole family together.
How're y'all doing...urst, Kool, Kat, Morea, Darzan?
Miss the gang.

Hey Rick!! Merry Christmas.
Good stuff your doing for the children. Without believing in Santa, there's no happy christmas. Your giving them the sweetest dream of the year.:)

Thanks for asking, Rick. I'm doing well. Looking forward to the year changing, this one's been a bit bumpy, but nothing out of control. I'm looking forward to 2008, and setting some changes in motion, just like I do every year, hopefully I'll follow through on more of my resolutions than not. :)
Are ya livin' ghost-free at this juncture? And have you heard anything about your former digs and what might or might not be going on there?

No complaints, Rick. My own international move last year was more than a little traumatic (though that's to be expected!) and there are still bumps in the road here and there, but I've adjusted in pretty well. I'm hoping that everything will be settled within the next 3 to 6 months and I can move on from there.
I'm pretty excited about 2008, too. I'm looking forward to getting back home to visit my family and to some great new opportunities. It should be the culmination of what I've been working toward these past few years, so I'm cautiously optimistic. :)
Thanks for asking, Rick. Best wishes to you and your family.

This house is totally clean. There is something way back in the back yard that is "uncomfortable" and we avoid that area. But we have joined up with a local paranormal group doing investigations. Darci's powerful senses are more than I ever thought possible. She has talked with several children spirits, some of which we've also caught on audio and some pictures, too. We're thinking that if she can learn to control her sensitivity, turn it on and off at will, she may be able to help in law enforcement, locating murder victims and the such. We're aso going back to Washington for a week in March or April and hope to check out the old house - if it's still standing!
Merry Christmas! Missed you around here.

Wow, Rick, that's cool about Darci, is she okay with it? I guess she doesn't really have a choice, huh?
So the house is clean, that's good to hear, I know that was stressful. I still get chills remembering listening to some of the audio you posted.
Where are the children spirits Darci's been talking to? Somewhere else?

LOL, my kidlets wrote letters to Santa too this year (well, the 3 year old did her best ;)). The 6 year old, being more savvy about these things, found her letter a couple of days ago (a big goof on my part) and worried that since it wasn't mailed that Santa wouldn't know what she wanted. I slyly said, "Oh, don't worry, I faxed the letter to Santa," pointing to the fax machine in ye olde office nook. Successful belief in Santa established for another year.

:DGood Save!!
Where are the children spirits Darci's been talking to? Somewhere else? There's an old cavalry camp north of here. The kids have made references to a date of early 1900's. Two boys play in the old schoolhouse, a young girl, Caroline, inhabits the old commisary, along with twin boys who love to play hide and seek in the supply room. None of them know why they're and need help crossing over, which they will receive soon.
