Quark using Classic

My Quark 5 programme using Classic, has started crashing when I'm copying and pasting text from Word. And sometimes when I'm copying text from an email. I am using a Mac laptop with OSX. Any ideas, why?

This is just from my list of usual suspects, but it might help.

First off, Quark and Classic have always been a buggy combination. Have you tried using Quark with OS9 as your startup OS, instead of using Classic?

Also, try throwing away the Quark Preferences (located in the Quark application folder). And try shutting down fonts if you have a lot of them open.
