I know of printers who use iMacs for prepress. It can be done but I wouldn't advice it for upgrade and maintenance reasons.

I have a G4 imac at home, but I wouldn't want to think about using it here at work. Just amused me. Wonder if the designer designing the icons was using a G4 imac too?

Icons can be hard to design - especially reasonably abstract things like prepress. I couldn't tell you how to illustrate prepress.
