How would you spend U$3.000, 00 in your station???

Hi Everyone:
How would you spend U$3.000, 00 in your station???
I will be working mostly with printed material, but doing web and video time to time.
Would a complete iMac be better than MacPro with a suggested configuration?
The display is an important issue – especially now that the iMacs comes with the glossy screen. I must include an awesome display in this budget.

Does the $3,000 have to cover software took or just hardware?

yeah, $3000 may seem like a large amount to spend on a system but that software adds up. I would buy an iMac 20" w/ the better video card if you will be using video. I would try to devote any left over to software.

If you don't need the software I would get a power mac. I have an iMac and I work on a Power Mac occasionally. I love my iMac but I like the Power Mac's room for upgrade. While $3000 may not buy you as much Power Mac it will be upgradeable in the future.
P.S. I wouldn't get Apple to do any upgrades on the RAM or Hard Drive on a Power Mac. Save some $ and get a tech shop to do them. Just my opinion.

I would buy a huge keg cooler and stockpile kegs.... for some reason I seem to be more creative when I sip a little here and there! ;)

Oh, I would need some scratch paper and pencils to think out ideas with.
