I plead the 5th ammendment.
(for those of you outside the US, the fifth ammendment to the US constitution allows a person not to answer a question if that answer will incriminate him/her self)

Nope. Never done that. There must be something wrong with all of the rest of you. Either that, or I'm just far more skilled than the average designer. I mean, really, trying to close a Photoshop window by clicking on the close widget in a pasted screen shot...
No, my nose isn't getting longer. Why do you ask?

Alt+F4 or ctl+W in windows. :)
Alt+Tab to switch between windows
Ctl+F4 to close one workspace while leaving main program open
Ctl+Tab to switch between workspaces in a program
Windows Button + M = minimize all open windows to taskbar.
What is this red cross box thingy?

It's mostly for those who are testifying against someone else and they may have been involved in some of the incidents the other person is charged with. Mostly so they will snitch and with help from the District Attorney/Courts will plea bargain and not get charged themselves in return for such testimony.
kinda a 'quid pro quo' protection thing.

It's funny the number of files I get where a line of text will have a 'w' at the end of it. Make sure your text boxes aren't active before you miss the command/control key. LOL!

That one still nabs me, that and/or a v when I'm switching to the selection tools. It was way worse when I was still learning InDesign, v's and w's all over the place!

yeah, don't u just hate it when you're on a dirty site when the boss walks by and you alt-tab, but it just goes to another dirty site you had open? :p

Windows D is even better for minimizing. It shows your desktop, then you can press Win D again to go right back to your apps as they were before your boss walked by :D

We have a client that put out a product last year called "Black Series". Let's just say that there's a rather unfortunate site (NSFW) that you happen upon when you type in blackseries.com into your browser. :o

The onr that really catches me out in InDesign is the switch between the Alt & Sapce bar to move stuff around... how many text boxes have i had that have a . massive amount of word spaces in them!!!!

I always add z's to the end of text blocks for some odd reason. Of course, I never make mistakes - those Zima commercials must have had a profound impact on me.

Other useless tidbits.
Win+E = My Computer
Win+R = Run (run line for "calc" "//server1/clients/" etc.)
Win+F= Search window (
Win+L = Switch User
If you just hit the WIN button once the start menu opens, then you can use your arrow keys to open applications. Arrow to highlight >> enter to launch.
Win (then) U = shut down computer
Win + F3 is Find = either search windows if on desk or can launch finds in programs as well, like firefox.

ok, call it morbid curiosity......kinda like a train wreck, you know you aren't gonna like what you see, but you just have to look.
