Well, when I was born, there was another baby born on the same day (can't remember if mom said it was a girl or a boy), My mother's name and the other mother's name were the same (I think the dad names were both Marvin too)...the nurses had to change thier wrist/ankle tag system so the babies went to the right parents.

I'm not sure both of us had the same name, Like I said, I can't remember if we were even the same gender. Both parent sets had the same first and last names...the middle names were different.

Part of the fun is having multiple people listed in the phone book under the same name. There are at least 4 guys in my dad's city with the same name as him. He often gets calls from people looking for one of the others. They must all be pretty nice guys (and good at their jobs) since all the calls have been complementary.

There happened to be a lady with a similar name (not the same) to my mum's that lived in the same city that we used to live in. They must've thought she had changed cities and changed her name slightly too.

This lady owed a lot of money so every time my mum explained that they had got the wrong person, they would keep calling her until mum was able to verify that she wasn't that person.

It didn't help that we actually knew that person. Mum never mentioned it to her because debt is pretty embarrassing - but in this case, what happens to confidentiality?

funny thing though I shared a house with my 15th cousin and didn't know he was a cousin til years later. But then again my family on my mom's side registered nearly 2,000 blood relatives at a family reunion in '76. A client's Aunt & uncle are my cousins, but I'm not related to the client. I actually am in the habbit of finding out family ties before anything goes on. Luckily all my former interests weren't family.

Googling myself yields a prisoner in Florida. He has his own webpage and everything that seem to run through the prison system. I think he's in for armed robbery. All we have his the same name. He's black, I'm white, he's he, I'm she...I don't think I'll be having any issues with the social security administration over this one.

I was freaked out while playing a gig a few weeks ago. The place had about 300-400 people. I looked over to my left and saw the closest thing to my identical twin I've ever seen. I couldn't just leave stage to find her. I tried to track her so I could talk to her but she left just as soon as it was over while I was packing my guitar up. Maybe she'll show up at the gig we have next week.

lol, I did that once. Apparantly I'm a Brigadier General, A P.E. of my own company, A German Priest and much more......Who Knew?
