I've recently begun using Miro (http://www.getmiro.com/). It requires a free software download (multi-platform), but has a lot of different channels with all types of different content available for people to watch, totally legit and also free.
I've been digging on classic animations, old cheesy B movies and old newsreels as an example, but there's all kinds of other content available.
I highly recommend it, but beware, it's really addictive because of the masses of content. Looks like it's not limited to the U.S. either.
