Ok I've used these boards before for entirely different subject matter but, I love to see the community with in and how everyone treats the newbiees.

I have this project that starts with thousands of still action candids of little league baseball and football. I want to create a looping presentation scored to music. A little beyond power point screen wipes though. I want to be able to time the frames to the music. slow zooms with left right pans that give a sense of movement. Color fading to black and white....these are the effects I'm hoping to create. I'm fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

If this was your project what software would you use and any tips on good reference tools for similar projects would be great.

Welcome, enjoy your stay. Beer is in the fridge, you need anything else, just add it to the shopping list stuck to the fridge door.

Are you talking about the burning software they bundle with disc burnners?

yes and no... Nero Version (whatever the newest is). I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition, and did the free online upgrade to 7. It comes with 7 or 8 programs aside from just the burning ROM. I think the package retails for something like $100 US.
