You could write something about how computers/the internet have changed the graphic design field, or the difference between print design and web design. There's plenty to say about either. Actually, your choice of topic is probably something you're being graded on, so make sure it's something with meaning to *you.*

and please don't post the same question in multiple areas. Be patient... people will help you if they can when they get the time.

You've gotta do what you've gotta do.

you want a debate! do the dreaded Mac vs. PC war!!!! he...he...he.....lot's of threads here.
JUST DON'T DO IT HERE!!!!!!!

A friend of mine did one similar back in the day about how traditional graphic design was losing it's concepts to a digital world.
There are many people who claim to be designers but don't have the right 'traditional' foundation. I am one of them...I took part time courses to learn the programs and some theory but i had to learn about alot of things on my own.

I don't necessarily think i'm a designer, but i know i am creative.

the differences between Graphic design and desktop publishing, or maybe the problems of the ethics in our field, people selling their creative services for slave wages....OR how bout a Fortune 1000 Company offering a Pancaking prize of 50 Bucks for a logo, and how all I want to do is tell him to go pancake himself
