Hi,

I edited a video in Imovie and set it to what I thought was the lowest res but still for enough clarity and right size on screen. Right now its 172 MB. Pretty large for web, I know, but every other setting I tried made the screen size small. At this size, though, its bogging down on other systems and servers.

Does anybody know a good IMovie output setting to Quicktime .mov that is not only lower res but something that would translate larger than 3"x3" on screen, preferably with the "on" arrow, too? (check katolist.com/music.html- you may see what I mean)

Thanks

So much depends on the length of the movie, and the settings when you export /share and the version of iMovie.

Are you still editing this movie? If you're editing the movie that's located on a server, vs. the hard drive of the machine? If so, that's probably why it's bogging down the other systems. I'll back up to a portable hard drive, but always use my machine for editing.

No, the movie was previously edited to approx. 3 min. in length and is located with all other html files and images in the hard drive.
