Some of my work

Here is some work I have done. FYI on one piece I blurred out the home address. Most of
these are school projects with the exception of Lifeworks which I did for a friend of the family. I'm a fan of minimalistic, "clean" design which is a common theme for most of these pieces with the exception of the Jungle Book poster which I was trying to make look like a kind of animated jungle. For the "Reflections on the River" poster I wanted to do something different than just add text to an image of the New River. (Not that there'sanything necessarily wrong with doing that!)

Unfortunetly my computer crashed a few months back and I lost a lot of info including some portfolio pieces (and lots of porn too which sucks also lol jk). I'm still trying to see if I have some on disk somewhere, I hope I do!

Hahaha, I always tell people to get a backup of everything on their computers, and I'm soon gonna get some backupsystem myself (the "soon" in that sentence has been going on for the last five years)

Nice pieces there. I am a fan of that minimalist style as well.

Reflections on the River....part of me wants something done with REFLECTIONS (reflecting) but another part says...too cliche'.

Danger Mouse: I actually experimented with doing something with "reflections" but it never seemed to look right so I left it. I'm glad you liked it.

I think she meant "was live traced" meaning that it looks like Illustrators live trace was used on the river. I assume mostly from the artifacts and sharp irregular shapes.

I think all those pieces are very well done. You could give lessons to my boss about effective use of whitespace. :)

Your typography is spot on, but my personal preference would be to have the dates and time a little bigger for easier reading. But that may be a different opinion if I saw it printed out.
