Been working on a logo concepts for a new product line at my company. My boss has chosen to go with this one - which is a surprise, it was one of my favorites - and we rarely agree on designs! One thing we cannot decide on is whether we should keep the dot in there, or take it out. It is a play off the actual product - high end broadcasting Audio connectors - the connector has a center pin.
Anyways I'm open to any feedback of course. :) We may or may not keep those colors. I had intended it to be a bit more orange, but he liked the red. HOWEVER, he also said that for ads and catalogs he may want to move towards cooler colors, like blues. In any case, I think we should decide on a standard brand color for it. He thinks it is OK to change that V as needed to fit the design. Maybe that is ok, I don't know, lol...
Anyways, here it is!

Keep the dot in.
What colour are the speakers?
Might be nice to have the dark grey as a metallic?

Doesn't really matter what color the speakers are. :) These products are for recording studios and hooks into boards I think....something like that. its a BIG GIGANTIC black connector.
TRUST me buda, I would SO LOVE to do some metallic ink printing. But the logo is first and for most going to be used online, for sell sheets, magazine ads, and catalogs. I'd definitely be open to pushing that if we do a whole VCON catalog though - but it probably would not be able to happen if it is just in our standard catalogs printed in CMYK where the logo would only be used on a few pages. :) Thanks for putting that into my mind regardless.

Although the boss says we can change the blue color later if we wanted to, lol but i'm a stickler for branding....
I loved the orange/red but this blue is growing on me now...

Kinda late, but I like the dot as well. Reminds me of a coax/RCA/[insert cable connector].
kern the v and the c a bit tighter?

I like this logo - the dot would have more of a visual impact if it was a little larger, but I suppose that it's being kept in the proportions of the product. Well done!

That's cool! The dot really adds to it.
