New Member and New Site!

Hello All!

I am a new member and I'd Like to take a second to say hello!

I am an artist / graphic designer and I am starting to tinker with some flash stuff.

Anyways,

This is my second attempt at a site and I think that I have a better grasp on some things!

I was hoping that I could get some of you to take a look and send me your feedback and comments!

I think the website is awesome! If it were anything but an art shop, I would say it takes too long to load. But being what it is, people should be willing to wait. The sound effects may be a too loud. I'm on VoIP right now, so I've got my headphones and mic on, but I'll test it out after on regular speakers. Through these headphones, it's deafening!

I will have to congratulate you on both a beautiful website and beautiful artwork.

I am truly flattered,

It's funny you spend what feels like forever on something then one day you realize that it is finished ( or your just sick of it), when the dust settles you hope you made something that's cool!

Your work is fantastic. The site is a little laborious. For example, you have elaborate frames around the work, and those frames are within the elaborate frame of the site. Come to think of it, I mean that phsycially and figurativley. In other words, the work is quite elaborate, the site maybe should not be. I just want the work to pop out more. Want it to be larger. However, stylisitcally I think this is the right path for you. Sound gets very bothersome.

Yeah I have been on the fence with the sounds actually I guess I could go either way, with or without them

Yeah, I guess they are kinda creepy!, Ha I went to the Ripleys believe it or not museum a while back and it inspired the whole thing! I thought "Wow what a strange place the world is", all these really bizzare things really existed, or people thought they were!

I wonder if I pushed that concept a little bit more?

I have another collection in the works, Its a while off from being done
and it's in a TOTALLY different direction!

That is so sick and wonderful =) Just one little idea I got was if you took one of this old circusmelodies and cut it up in pieces so when you click next, next, next it will play the melody, just an idea.

Yeah its funny, I actually DID compose a little melody by sampling old organ grinders and street pianios, but in order to keep the site loading time minimal I ended up cutting it....

Yeah I created them, though I sometimes think I should not admit it!

That could possibly be the kindest words I have ever recieved!

But I am far from a master, just somebody who has visted too many museums, been highly effected by video games and watched one too many monster movies, and can't quite seem to turn off Photoshop.

Origionals, unfortunatly not, but I do have prints for sale!!!!!

I guess I could whip up a few pencil sketches though!!!!

Up till a few weeks ago i would have passed your work without a second glance.
