Has anyone bought a corporate license from Linotype? I've been trying to get them to answer a query, but no dice. (Is there US contact info?)

We have just rebranded and the new typefaces (chosen by the firm we hired) are variations on Helvetica which we don't have in house. We could probably just substitute Arial, Arial Black and Arial Narrow  (I know ... rank heresy!), but we'd rather have the "right" ones. I believe I am correct in assuming that buying a copy of typeface off fonts.com or whereever does not give you the right to copy it willy-nilly on every computer in the office (in this case, about 50 of them).

So, if you have licensed a typeface from Linotype for corporate use, could you let me know what the fees were like?

Pitifully forever grateful,

jma

When you buy a font off of Font.com you get 5 seats for the price. You can dial in how many seats you need or check out their Font Services.

Sometimes the best bet is to call (best to call Europe first thing in the morning. After 10am Eastern time, they all go home). Email can take 48-72 hours to be answered.

edit:
Here's Linotype's options:
