Saving Fonts to computer on Windows Vista...

I am having trouble saving fonts from dafont.com onto my computer. I do not know where to actually save the files to when it asks me to save. And once it is done downloading, it I do not know what to do with the file itself. Do I need to extract the file? Do I need to drag the truetype file to the fonts folder? HELP!

Extract and place font file in the font folder.

The font folder is in C/Windows/fonts

but don't drag the folder there, just the font files.
