Dumb question... just to warn you...

How to I post an image in a thread without having to attach it? I tried using tinypic.com, but when I uploaded my image it said it was successful but when I clicked see image there wasn't anything there...

never used tinypic, always used imageshack (only with stuff I don't mind the whole world seeing, usually forum trolling). I just use the direct link and put it between image tags
[ img ]http://www.this_is_your_url.com/[ /img ]

no spaces in the [ img ] tags...

You can host images for free at www.imageshack.us (http://www.imageshack.us/), and also at our sister site www.thecreativeforum.com (http://www.thecreativeforum.com/).

Once you have uploaded the image, you can link it into your post using image tags, like this:

http://img475.imageshack.us/img475/5733/untitled10av.jpg


You can also use photobucket. Once you have that url you just copy and paste it surrounded with the tags as shown above
