I'll have to look it up, but I think it's Mynock1. I don't have any games yet. It's primary function is as a Blu-Ray player, which are rented from Netflix. I'm waiting to get my five free Blu-Ray movies from Sony so that I can pawn some of them off with Spider-Man 3 and get Call of Duty 4! Luckily I play the demos which I download and last week I rented Assassin's Creed. I just bought a house so I have to watch the money and I had to return a bunch of X-Mas gifts and my bonus to be able to get the PS3. It didn't cost me a dime out of my pocket directly.

You mean there are never going to be HHD DVVDD BVDs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZqWv7kDRy8)? :D
It was inevitable after Sony payed off WB to the tune of 400m and Fox for 120m. I find it funny that all of the articles I have read in the last couple days are crediting the PS3 for this win. They have only sold 8 million of them and according to this article only 40% of PS3 owners know they have a blu-ray player. (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070809-report-gamers-largely-clueless-about-next-gen-console-media-capabilities.html) Anyways this should be a pretty good year for the PS3 with a bunch of good game coming out. MGS4, GTA4, Killzone2 and possibly RE5. I will be looking at one in a few months when GTA comes out. Microsoft better watch it's back.

My EGM magazine's feature article this month is 8 reasons why the PS3 will bounce back.

Tax rebate + your extra rebate check should cover both :)
I did my taxes over the weekend ... with the freelance money I had to pay taxes on + capitol gains on stock sales I am getting a whopping $28 back from federal and $12 back from state. At last I can retire!

Whoa MD, share the wealth. Can I have a Blu-Ray player?
I'm glad Toshiba have done this now because I was considering a HD DVD player, was just waiting for my next wage packet.
I attribute blue ray's success to the fact that the porn industry chose that format.

porn chose HD-DVD, sony didn't want it. They switched after WB announcement I believe.

Porn doesn't have the amount of pull to decide a format like it once did, especially with it so readily available online. And John is right, while Bluray is starting to get a title or two (that "Pirates" movie, for example), HD-DVD was more lenient about letting that stuff on.
Anyway, I'm glad it's over. Now put friggin' Transformers on Bluray where it should have been to begin with.

I didn't know that. And here I am still watching my porn in NTSC... :(

Haha... That picture rocks!
I saw an advertisement for an Indianapolis White Castle suggesting White Castle for a romantic Valentine's getaway. The ad even claimed that they would have tablecloths for the event! o_O
