Just wanted to say thank you to the owners and staff of GDF for providing a FREE place for designers from new to seasoned, to come and share their experiences, questions and frustrations. Your other sites, designer today magazine, poser world, props guild, shop designer today, all provide a wealth of information supporting us designers and artist, for FREE.
I have found this community online to be an essential tool to continue in my field of graphic design. Without the support from this forum, many would have no where els to turn with their questions and comments, which could lead to frustration and job burnout, not just in one country, but all over the world. yeah the GDF is an awesome forum, not only does it provide support for graphic design issues, it supports everything from our life experiences to flat out stupid things that run through our minds. I think it has alot to do with the GDF family, a great bunch with good hearts, and a few of us with tah, tah's doesn't hurt!

Both! It helps keep you sane because the creative ppl here understand each others' plight (dealing eith sales staff, clients, etc), and at the same time it allows you to maintain a healthy level of insanity to keep your design work going!

I totally agree with Coconut, this forum has given me a lot of confidence and inspiration. I can honestly say as a newcomer to the industry this resource has been indispensable. It is great to have a place to answer questions and it is a real stress relief to have like-minded (well as like minded as it gets) individuals to prattle with. I think the feedback from members has helped me to come up with some of my better stufff.
