Aviary, in and of itself, is worth a mention. It's an online creative suite (http://a.viary.com/tools)with tools for image editing, vector illustration, and 3D modeling.

Trouble is, there's a whole lot more ...all named after birds.

So, when you're talking about this article where they came up with all the identities for the apps (http://a.viary.com/bizblog/posts/good-design-lies-in-the-foundation), a question arises. Are they overdoing it?

Can you, readily and easily latch onto which one is which?

Time will tell, I'm sure. But it's interesting discussion fodder when you see there are like eighteen different emblems for apps. Some are minor apps others workhorses, but it's exceedingly hard to tell. Luckily ranking on the list keeps the majors on top.

Someone posted this suite last month, followed by a dull thud.

You're right. Too many apps, not very intuitive names.

I'm not sure, is calling an on-line application a "workhorse" very apt?

This sucker is still in beta. Seeing is believing.
