HELP! What the h*ll is this?

What is this stupid font! It's not tekton pro, not marker felt, not comic sans, I have gone through every font I can think of... I have tried the font finder websites and am coming up with nothing... This is for the side of a dragster that has a proof due in a couple hours:(

Call and ask the company really quickly? What ever it is it is HORRID horizontally squished. Perhaps stretch it out and try the sites again?

ya got me I don't recognize it.

I thought it was a Marker type font too but nothing I have matches it :confused:

It was made by the last designer here. is there a way to un-outline text to see what it is?

Yeah, but it's not on here any more I don't think. I went through every SINGLE font and none of them have that distinctive curve on the arm of the 5....

Perhaps that designer worked at a different computer and you have a different set of fonts? I know everyone in our office here doesn't have the exact same set of fonts, since one person may work on a particular clients' projects that require a certain font or two, while another person would have no need for them. Maybe try other computers in your office. Otherwise, it might just be hand-illustrated (traced from a scan of a hand-written example).

I'm on his computer now... Only one graphic designer here. I think I figured it out... caflisch script pro... then squished, then he like outlined the stroke of a stroke of a stroke... wow. I hate my job. My boss just stayed over here for 45 minutes and made me get up then he got on my computer trying to figure out what the other designer did... I had to sit and watch this non designer mess with what I'm doing... brutal....

did you ever tried to check for a back up computer or hd, maybe youll find something there..

are you sure its even a font?
Looks like it could be handrawn using a brush tool to me (on a wacom pad, etc.). Something about the way the stem and the serif of the 1 join up that looks kinda sloppy.

If you're on that tight of a deadline, doing it yourself would be your best bet.
