Check the adobe design studio under most popular downloads. There's a metallic inks one there. Unfortunately...I'm running PS 6 too and it said it wasn't compatible for me but its worth a shot. You can also search there for more metallic ink downloads.

Just use black and any spot color.
When you send it to print, tell the print vendor the spot color should be Metallic PMS 875.
I'm assuming they can separate this thing into two plates.
I don't use metallics in large format. Yet. Coming soon though.

Yes they can seperate it into 2 plates. I can use a 'any spot color' and black, but I want to make sure that when i adjust my curves that the pictures will print correct, my problem is I dont what to use s'thing like Pantone 464 (just as an example) & black becuse I'm afriad that when they replace it 464 with 875 on press the pictures wont print the way I would like them to.
Does any of that make sense?

I check out adobe design studio and didnt find anything to help me.

Your monitor can't show you a metallic color anyway. And you're missing the metallics in the swatches in PS6, right?

875 is a coppery color. Maybe you can use a color like PMS 126 or 146 (I'm looking at an equivalent chart, not a pantone book so the numbers I mention might be off.)

Duh, I guess monitors cant show metallic color. You ever have one of those days where you leave all common sense at home.
Your right I dont have metallics in the swatches. I think that is the best route for me to take; until I can convince the boss to update programs.
Many thanks to you.

LOL! No problem.

Even with the update it's gonna look like caca brown on your monitor. But don't tell your boss that.
