Transparent PSD's

Hi,

Sometimes when I place transparent PSD's into Indesign (CS3) I get an extremely annoying white outline around my PSD's when exported to PDF, can someone tell me why this happens and if there is anything I can do to stop it happening? Also does it print?

In Acrobat use the zoom tool and zoom up very close on the line. It most likely will disappear and will not print.
