stumbled across this forum while at work and had to register.
I spose i should introduce myself and describe my background as a designer.I just graduated last summer with my associates in graphic design and advertising. I plan to get my 4 year degree but thats further down the road, can't ever stop learning now can we? I'm orginally from denmark, so if there are any other danes on the boards, hejsa, haaber i har det godt!!
I am extremely passionate about design, i've always had creative energy pulsing through me, i just didn't know i could get a job doing it. Well before graduating i was searching for a job, it took me about a year to find my current position. I thought it would have been quicker because i know i have the talent and drive, but i'm in the middle of no where in the southern u.s. so artistic design positions are limited compared to the city areas.
I just got hired as an Illustrator specialist, i make flags for the entire domestic u.s., from state highway patrol, military, to the flags of all major hotels in n.y. city, to college banners and professional sports banners.
I got the call on valentines day that i got the job, and yes i did go bananas :D
I spose while i make myself know i should include a sample of lastest drawing, its completely done illustrator thus far, 25 hours of work in it.
