Hi,
I have an assignment to adjust multiple excel sheets in indesign. This person who has made the excel sheets has added a space between every letter in numerous words. I wonder if there's a way to undo this spacing without having to fix every word at a time "by hand"? It would surely save a lot of time...
Thanks!

Find and replace might be tough, because if it's only one space between letters in words, it will replace your normal spacing.
Actually, I just checked, even though this is also a little tedious, it's a improvement. Use find and replace, just choose "selection" from the search drop down in the find and replace dialog box. (that and you'll have to manually select those "extra spaced" words one at a time.
there may be a difference in the actual character, copy and paste a normal space into the find and replace field - then do the same with the unwanted one - they are sometimes added as different characters and will only show up as such in the find and replace fields - or turn on your hidden characters.

I kind of got it...;)
I use CS2 and found the menu find/change... the only problem seems to be that what should i replace the spaces with.. didn't find "nothing" or something like that in the drop down menu....
any ideas?
