got this new HP DesignJet Nr, it's a desktop poster printer (and regular printer as well). so far I love it! so if anyone is looking for a good printer I think this gives you the most bang for your buck.

I think it was about $2500. It will print a width limit of 24 inches but it's on a roll (in the back) so you can do as long as you want. Plus it has all paper size options in the tray. It's a 6 ink machine which is great!

Sweet printer, can you load different kinds of media into it?
What are the print cartridges worth on a hum-dinger unit like that?
Have you had any kind of issues printing AI files? My boss has a similar one, just a bit older. For some reason when you print files on best quality it cuts it off at the same point everytime. I don't think it's a memory issue as I tried sending a simple box to print in best mode and got the same result.
Match in the gas tank, boom boom.

Not sure about AI files yet, haven't had a real project to test it out on (I will soon though). but I use to have a HP Designjet GA at two other places I worked at and tohse where GREAT. NEVER had an issue and i'm thinking this is the same processor.
I wouldn't load anything otherr then paper into it.
Cartridges run about $30-40 a piece

How many ml do the carts hold? Is it CMYK(+lightM)(+lightC)?
