Is anyone doing this to repurpose InDesign content for the web?

I've been playing around with creating tags, but I'm doing something wrong. After creating a few tags and mapping them to existing styles, I get an empty XML file after exporting. OTOH, when I map the styles to tags, the entire flow and look of my document changes (there's a warning for this on the dialog box, but no explanation). And none of my images are exported despite checking the 'include images' checkbox.

Any tips? Links to good tutorials and info? I've read through all the Adobe documenation already...

You said you've read the documentation, so perhaps you've already seen this (http://www.adobe.com/products/indesign/pdfs/idsn2exportxml.pdf), but just in case you haven't...

There is an article about it in one of the issues of InDesign magazine, but that's a subscription only deal, so unfortunately, I can't link you to it.

Here's another link (http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2004/08/04/indesign.html) I found through Google, hope it helps.
