Anyone seen the new viral marketing campaign that Rolling Rock is doing?? Its getting alot of interest peaked although I don't think they would ever go through with it....

I've heard of it, but when I went to the site, it took over 30 seconds to load, and then wouldn't let me go on unless I allowed a 2o7 tracking cookie to be set. *shrug* Oh, well.

Old, old, old, old idea.

Read "The Man Who Sold the Moon" by Robert Heinlein. Published in the early 50's I believe. A novella (why isn't a short novel called a "novellette"?) that has much to say about greed, advertising, politics, and human nature. And since it was built around the totally ludicrous idea of man going to the moon (moonships---hmph! what rubbish!), it was classified as "science fiction" and was totally ignored buy the mainstream public. Too bad. I tell ya, the man was writing history 50 years or so before it actually happened.

I think I'm going just fly there myself with the ticket my crazy uncle bought in the 70's on a shuttle to the moon. Maybe I'll just plant my butt on the surface and then I can "moon" people forever.:D

imagine how many people would be pissed off if someone actually got to the moon and put up a giant advertisement on it? howard stern has been talking about this for awhile now too saying he wants to put a giant Sirius fist logo on the moon :D i wonder what size font you would need to use to actually read it from earth?
