Tell us more about this mysterious killing machine you call the tortoise :D

I'll not sleep right tonight.

That's because you don't understand the nuances of the tortoise mind.

The tomatoe had to be destroyed as the scent of a human was upon it.

It's a famous tale in the tortoise book of bygone truths that humans ruled the Gallapagos Islands but were the first victims of the uprising. Then realising that they couldn't swim and they had no way of making boats they evolved into turtles.

They then proceeded to inhabit the world over the next few millenia. Soon they will all answer their primal call and devour all in their path!

Run away! Run away! Bring forth the Holy Hand Grenade! (Will that work on an armored tortoise?)

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I need a libation after that...:D

...realising that they couldn't swim and they had no way of making boats they evolved into turtles...

would a turtle float if it was on its back? If so, it need only fashion a rudimentary sail and... well, no one would be safe

Interesting question? Not sure on that. I shall nip down to my local pet store (freak show) and stare one square in the eyes.

I'll look into its soul and detect if it has plans of EVIL in there.

I had a tomato plant try to take over my livingroom once, but it only had four very tiny tomatos on it. I ate those and it was defenseless.

Rabbits can eat tomato fruit, but the leaves and vines are toxic. Are they toxic to people too?

Red Kittie Kat
03-17-2008, 11:14 PM
lmao Garrick .. a cult classic :D

and Holy Cow I was looking up if leaves were toxic and look what I found ...

Avocado tops the list

http://birds.suite101.com/article.cfm/pet_birds_and_toxic_foods

I think a lot of that list goes for all animals not just birds.

SpugNothuson

A tortoise would eat all those foods and laugh at their inability to poison a creature of terror!

The killer tomatoes were a blip on the tortoise domination radar. The usurpers uprising was quickly quashed following in total tortoise domination.

Holy cow! That was the funniest (er, sorry Spug) the SCARRIEST video of a turtle I've ever seen.

It looked like a remote control turtle. Perhaps they are manufacturing and utilizing remote control versions of themselves to invade and dominate?

Or, perhaps you have it all wrong. He's not really evil, just a poor little innocent turtle tired of its hard crusty shell and it is seeking out the refinements of the feel of soft cat fluff. . .

Ah! I think the turtle was hypnotizing me!! They ARE evil!
