oh man i will not be partaking in the green beer this year. at least not going to the bars to drink it =] but i have my corned beef in the crock pot and will be ready by about 7pm tonight!! maybe i'll stop and grab a few black and tans on the way home :D

Brenda O'Malley is home as usual, making dinner, when Tim Finnegan arrives at her door. "Brenda, may I come in? I've somethin' to tell ye."
"Of course you can come in, you're always welcome, Tim. But where's my husband?"
"That's what I'm here to be tellin' ye, Brenda. There was an accident down at the Guinness brewery..."
"Oh, God no!" cries Brenda. "Please don't tell me..."
"Sure and I must, Brenda. Your husband Seamus is dead and gone. I'm sorry."
Brenda reached a hand out to her side, found the arm of the rocking chair by the fireplace, pulled the chair to her and collapsed into it. She wept for many minutes. Finally she looked up at Tim. "How did it happen, Tim?"
"It was terrible, Brenda. He fell into a vat of Guinnesss Stout and drowned."
"Oh my dear Jesus! But you must tell me true, Tim. Did he at least go quickly?"
"Well, no Brenda, no."
"No?"
"Fact is, he got out three times to pee."

I didn't end up going our drinking yesterday. Our 1 Irish friend took the day off and drank himself stoopid. So by the time we were finished work at 6pm and ready to have a drink with him, he was almost out of commission and on the way home.

hahah sounds like me last year. my roommate and i decide to start drinking at 2:30 went to the bar at 6 left the bar at 9 when our friends finally got there haha... my roommate is pickin up some black and tans to go with the corned beef =]
