I am just about had it with my printers. They don't respond on time to emails, they screwed up my orders a few times, I think one reason my last client went to another printer was that they probably had send the invoice to my client rather than me, therefore the markup might have peed my clients.
Also recently i asked for a quote and now into 5th day nothing.
I think time to move on.

Definately time to shuffle on mate.
Sounds like they're not very professional in their work ethics there. If an invoice went directly to one of my clients I would go nuts, especially if I suddenly discovered that I no longer get repeat work from that client.
5 days for a quote is just silly. The main printers that I use will get a quote done within 24hrs. If there is an unusually high amount of quotes for them to get through they'll call me and let me know that it'll be longer than 24hrs unless I can convince them that I ned that quote before then.
Time to start shopping around fella.

Printers should never send things directly to a client's own client.
We've just had an issue this week with my coworker sending proofs directly to our client's client. Not cool! Not cool at all. He has been told time and again and now he's pissed off one of our more important clients. That client happens to be a printing company who decided to outsource the work to us. Now their client knows this it might be terrible for their business.

it is sad, yes. I think because of this I lost a very good client as well.

Life's too short to deal with crappy printers. In Seattle you can't swing
a dead cat without hitting a printer, so I'd move along and find one
who will deal with you professionally. You owe it to yourself.

Unfortunately all he got was a talking to from the boss and the angry client.
He's gone for the day though. And he wont be back until Tuesday. Thank goodness for Easter holidays!
