Hey Guys,
I did this logo (see image below) and after doing it, I decided that I wanted to add that glossy gel look to it, However, I'm still fairly new at Illustrator and most of the tutorials tell you to start from scratch. I wanted to know how to add it to something that is already in progress.
Thanx

By glossy gel, do you mean the "web 2.0" look, as parodied here (http://blogulate.com/content/coprorate-web-20-logos/)?

Yes

Why not just read through the tutorial and pick up where you left off? Shouldn't be to hard to find. Looks like your just missing the opacity masked white box on it... Plus you 'logo' seems quite complex to fall into web 2.0 simplicity land.

Ok, I will try that and thanks for the tutorial.
btw, the logo is a little much for that, but I just wanted to give the blue front a slick curved look.

You're an illustrator? Have you just done everything by hand then? You definitely need to learn Illustrator...especially if you want to advertise as a professional company that does Illustration and GD.

Maybe I misunderstood but that was just really odd to me....

Yea, I,ve always done everything by hand, you know,pencils,markers,paints,etc..
I just decided that I wanted to have the knowledge of digital illustration, so awhile back I started learning to use illustrator just for the heck of it. The logo that I presented here is just something I'm playing around with.. for now at least.
