I have just finished reading the below title and have become quit interested in flex and actionscript 3.0 in general.

http://www.friendsofed.com/book.html?isbn=1590598156

My question is what book might someone recommend for me in continuing my education in flex and actionscript 3.0? I have glanced over some of the reviews for this book: http://www.friendsofed.com/book.html?isbn=1590597338 but may be afraid it might be a tad to basic after reading the previous one entirly which spends two chapters introducing flex at the end. Therefore, I'm not entirely certain that the previous flex essentials book would be to basic for me.

Any thoughts or other recommendations on titles regarding flex that might be more appropriate? – or perhaps the essentials book is the most appropriate purchase at this point?

I am also considering purchasing this book: http://www.friendsofed.com/book.html?isbn=1590595939 since, I'm assuming that the component architecture is similar in both flex and flash (besides for it being more robust in flex) – correct? If so than would this be a good title to purchase next so that I continue on with an education applicable to both flash and flex? The one reason I am hesitate to purchase this title and start reading is that it is targeted toward AS2 but I have been learning and would like to continue on a AS3 path. Therefore, I'm not entirely certain this book is the best for that – thoughts by those who may have read it?

Any recommendations from those who have either read or are reading these titles would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
