Sorry for the newb question, but I'm stumped. I actually did this yesterday in class (in CS) but I can't seem to figure it out today at home (in CS3).
All I want to do is remove an object from a photo in Photoshop and place it on a background in Illustrator. For some reason, I can't figure out how to get it into Illustrator without that white background popping up behind the image.
This is what I've been trying: trace the image in photoshop, under "paths" I select "create work path", then "save work path", and then "clipping path". But, when I try to drag the image using that method, the whole image moves and not the selection.
What am I doing wrong?
